Fido Finder.com or Pets911.com Both of these sites keep databases of lost and found pets, arranged by area.
Pet Health: This site offers a way to add your puppy or kitten to the site's timeline and receive e-mail about your pet's development.
Petfinder: This is an app that puts a database of cute creatures in your palm. If you're in search of a new friend, plug in breed, gender, size and other features to find mathces in your area, including pictures of adorable pets.
Dogs101: Animal Planet: This website is a fun crash course about all things dog! Learn about some of the most popular dog breeds, play fun dog games and much, much more.
Dog Breed Selector: Use this Animal Planet dog breed selector to find the perfect pet for you and your family.
Universal Microchip Registry Site Petlink is an international pet directory. You may register any chip type with this website. Users can also report lost and found pets on this easy-to-use website.
Amber Alert-like Service for Pets: This is a website that offers an Amber alert-like service for missing pets, sending out recorded phone alerts to neighbors.
Pet Obesity What is the ideal weight for your "fat cat" or "supersized dog?" This Pet Obesity Prevention website offers advice on how to help your pet lose weight. This site includes a "pet-to-human weight translator.
Lost and Found Pet Website This site is dedicated to reuniting lost pets and their owners. The Missing Pet Network is run by a group of volunteers sponsored by the USDA Animal Care Office, who help people find missing pet animals. 
In An Emergency To obtain a "In Case of Fire or Emergency" ANIMALS INSIDE sticker, click the link to the left. This sticker will alert emergency workers or firefighters that there is pet in your home (as seen in Newsday, January 8, 2011).
